Maintenance Technician - JLL
What this job involves:
Launch your career in maintenance and engineering at JLL! The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes across a variety of building systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position that provides excellent opportunities for growth in the engineering field. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians at our Broomfield Oracle site, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the seamless operation of critical building systems.
We're looking for a versatile, hands-on team member who can handle a wide range of general maintenance tasks. If you're looking to build a solid foundation in facilities maintenance with a company that invests in your development, this is your opportunity.
What your day-to-day will look like:
* Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment
* Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing repairs, electrical work, HVAC support, painting, and drywall repair
* Complete assigned work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and maintain appropriate service documentation
* Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe conditions
* Work closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers, and other team members
* Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
* Support on-call or emergency response situations as part of a rotating schedule
* Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
* 0-3 years of related work experience in general building maintenance, repair, or facilities work
* Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or drywall repair is preferred but not required
* Trade school, union training, military service, or college education is desirable
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
* Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive
* Strong customer service skills
* Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with painting and small drywall repairs
* Basic plumbing repairs (flush valves, faucets, etc.)
* Light bulb replacement and general electrical troubleshooting
* HVAC maintenance or support experience
* Carpet tile installation or repair experience
* Familiarity with CMMS or work order management systems.
Location:
Broomfield, CO 80021 (Oracle Site)
Work Shift:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with an on-call rotating schedule
Salary:
$54,800 - $60,100 annually
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated compensation for this position:
54,800. USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
