Cell Tower Technician

What You Will Do

• Installation and maintenance of mounts, platforms, antennas, RRU’s, TMA, and other related equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures to expand and upgrade cellular networks.
• Installation and maintenance of coaxial and DC power/fiber optic transmission lines.
• Assist with testing of new and existing equipment, including sweep, PIM, or fiber testing.
• Installation of ice bridges, cable trays, equipment pads, racks, and platforms.
• Installation of underground and in‑building conduits for electrical and backhaul circuits.
• Learn and incorporate climbing and work safety requirements.
• Work as a team to function as part of a 3‑4-man crew.
• Other duties as required.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cellular construction.
• Ability to work reliably under minimal supervision.
• Valid and active driver’s license that is insurable according to the company’s standards.
• Excellent physical conditioning and stamina.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including but not limited to snow, rain and varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Frequent standing, use of hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear.
• Occasional walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Frequent lifting or carrying up to 10 or 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 or 100 lbs.
• Ability to climb to and work at heights exceeding 300’.
• Good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 miles per day with a foreman.
