Academic Staffing Inc., an ESS Company, is hiring a School Social Worker to fill Full‑time positions for the 2024‑2025 school year. Elevate your career in the school setting with guaranteed hours, weekday stability, competitive compensation for both direct and indirect time, and dedicated clinician support!

Pay starting from $69/hr up to $79/hr choice between W2 or 1099 opportunities. No Non Competes in our contracts!

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Social Work required
  • Must have prior school experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and counseling techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, families, and staff
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students' specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support student success
  • Advocate for students' rights and ensure they have access to necessary resources and services
  • Offer crisis intervention services when needed and provide support during difficult situations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Promote a positive school climate through the implementation of programs and initiatives that address bullying prevention and social‑emotional learning
