THE WORK Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 3 Software Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or King of Prussia, PA location(s). Our portfolio powers diverse, mission-critical products, each with its own unique technical DNA. To support this, we are growing our Software Engineering Talent Center-an organization of versatile engineers who thrive on solving complex challenges across the entire stack.

We don't just "write code"; we engineer the automated frameworks, high-performance engines, and scalable infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes) that ensure our entire portfolio is mission-ready. We prioritize the Engineer over the syntax. Because our product teams utilize a wide array of tools-ranging from high-performance C++ to agile Python, Java, and C# microservices-we have the unique ability to match you with a team that fits both your technical mastery, interests, and your cultural style.

What you'll be doing:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that solve complex logical and mathematical problems for our mission applications.
• Drive the mission forward using Agile methodologies, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure rapid, iterative delivery.
• Utilize modern Configuration Management practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code is versioned, reproducible, and deployable.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for system architectures, API designs, and operating instructions to ensure long-term system sustainability. This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience coding software with proficiency in at least one of the following:
Java, C#, or C++.
• Professional experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
