Position - Software Engineer II

Job Type: 1099 Contractor. Contractor will pay their own taxes, invoice the company Net 30, and is not eligible for employee benefits.

Location:

Boulder, CO. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder office. Relocation assistance is not available; only local candidates will be considered.

  Dive into specific application modules to debug, resolve issues, and continuously optimize performance.

  Conduct meaningful peer code reviews for junior contributors, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  Shape automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines to keep our deployment engine fast and flawless.

  Participate in sprint planning by providing realistic estimates for small tasks and individual work items.

  Champion clean code by identifying and suggesting improvements to existing code structure and readability.

• Experience:
  
  1+ years of professional experience in a software engineering or equivalent role, showing a solid foundation in software development life cycles.
• Education:
  
  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on professional experience).

$54 – $74 per hour, 1099 Contractor. Contract can be terminated by either party at any time.
