Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to join the Ground Product Lines Team as a Full Stack Engineer and Dev Sec Ops Developer. You will work directly with customers to implement and enhance their environments and Dev Sec Ops capabilities.
Lockheed Martin's GPL Team develops and operates engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe.
The candidate will help mature GPL’s Dev Sec Ops implementation and have a strong desire to automate processes rather than doing them twice. The candidate will leverage the latest Dev Sec Ops tools and methodologies to deliver value to our customers quickly, efficiently, and repeatedly.
As a member of the GPL DSO Team, you will be responsible for developing software in support of some of the most cutting-edge efforts in the world and participate in establishing an updated software development environment. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a high-performing team, directly supporting a variety of programs’ adoption of modern software development best practices.
BasicQualifications
- Experience with at least one modern programming language
- Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development, and Kubernetes
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience with cloud agnostic infrastructure as code and configuration as code technologies
- Experience provisioning and managing cloud resources
- Experience with cloud native technologies and standards around container orchestration, package management, admission control, logging and monitoring, service mesh and traffic observability
- Linux OS background
- Experience with enterprise version control tooling
- Security as code background
- Familiarity with test driven development
- Experience contributing to opensource
- Familiarity with Government Dev Sec Ops initiatives
- Self‑motivated with strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with different customers in varying work environments
- Experience with automated build, test, continuous delivery and deployment
- Certifications in Cyber Security and Cloud Native Technology
- Active government security clearance
- Demonstrated growth mindset
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
