Compri Consulting is searching for a Sr. AI Engineer for a 6+ month contract (possible of extension/conversion) with our client based in Boulder, CO. This role will be required to be onsite.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI engineering roles, with a strong software engineering background.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated experience building AI or LLM-based applications, including agentic workflows, tool integration, and orchestration frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Experience integrating and evaluating foundation models and AI APIs in production or semi‑production environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock, including foundation model access, Knowledge Bases, Agents, and Guardrails, or equivalent managed model platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services relevant to AI workloads, such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and container services.
