Engineer, Software – Automation & Tools Development

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions that support engineering projects and meet customer requirements.
• Contribute to the development of internal applications, APIs, automation workflows, and supporting software services.
• Collaborate with technical teams, product stakeholders, and operational partners to deliver effective technical solutions and continuously learn new technologies.
• Support automation and tooling initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
• Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, business requirements, and technical workflows.
• Contribute to technology strategy by understanding current technologies, system interactions, data flows, and supporting business goals.
• Present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, services, or automation capabilities based on industry research.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR Combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• 2-4 years Technical engineering experience (Required)
