Position SummaryWe’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep back‑end expertise to help shape the architecture of our next‑generation energy market platform. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership across settlement processing, bid submission, market workflows, and platform APIs. The majority of development is back‑end focused, with front‑end work serving as a secondary responsibility.
- Salary range: $135,000 - $160,000
- Location:
Hybrid (Boulder, CO) - Full‑time
- Hybrid – 2 days in the office
- Reporting to:
Vice President, Engineering
- Design architecture for scalable platform services.
- Lead implementation of back‑end systems in C#/.NET.
- Define API and service design patterns.
- Guide database architecture and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
- Drive engineering best practices, testing, and operational excellence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on technical direction.
- Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve engineering velocity and quality.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET.
- Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
- Experience leading technical design and architecture.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Experience with energy markets, settlements, or trading platforms.
- Experience modernizing enterprise applications.
- Experience with cloud‑native architectures.
- Experience incorporating AI‑assisted development into engineering workflows.
