Basic Position Requirements (Back-End Engineer)

• Scala and/or Java experience a plus
• Understanding of worker/message queues
• No
  
  SQL experience

• JQuery
• PHP
• MySQL (Basic syntax)
• AJAX
• General understanding of RESTful APIs
• Familiarity GIT or version control repositories

• Rocky Mountain National Park Annual pass
• Boulder/Denver B-Cycle Annual membership
• Epic Local Pass ("Unlimited skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Heavenly and Northstar-at-Tahoe. Also includes 10 restricted days at Vail or Beaver Creek.")
• Mac Book Air or Mac Book Pro -- we give you the tools you need to get the job done. (You provide the stickers). We don't put spyware on it or limit what you do. We don't require what software you install. It's yours to do as you see fit to get the job done.
• General awesomeness -- no dress code, dogs are encouraged, beer is provided, sucking is expressly forbidden.
• Pets encouraged (as long as they don't conflict with our current pet: a badass Beta fish named "Joules")
