Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Boulder, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the management team

• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or age or older
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS systems
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with Boulder area roads and traffic patterns
• Previous delivery experience preferred
• Knowledge of local area a plus
• Proficiency in using mobile devices for tracking and reporting
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed

• Standing — Most tasks are performed from a standing position
• Walking — For short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in some areas
• Sitting — Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table
• Lifting — Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3  x 1.5 . Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72  high
• Carrying — Large cans, weighing 3 pounds 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves; occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store; trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances (about 12 pounds per tray)
• Pushing — Move trays placed on dollies; a stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24  - 30  and may require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push
• Climbing — Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance
