Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the Shipping Clerk for all daily outgoing shipments. This includes boxing shipments, processing internal and external documents, preparing customs forms, and coordinating with transport companies. This is a part‑time position.
Duties and Responsibilities- Box, wrap, and ship products
- Prepare customs forms and freight bills
- Keep the back room organized and clean
- Maintain a clean hall in front of the shipping room
- Lock outside doors to prevent unauthorized visitors from entering the plant
- Operate a forklift
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management
- Cross‑train in other logistics areas, including receiving, stocking, warehouse, cycle counts, physical inventory, and shop errands
- Use JD Edwards (JDE) and Precision, as well as other programs as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing shipping experience required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Current forklift permit or willingness to obtain one
- Strong typing skills and proficiency in word processing programs
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with other departments
- Adaptability to change and work under time and production restrictions in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary

Physical Demands and Working ConditionsStand for up to 8 hours daily; demonstrate eye‑hand coordination and upper body mobility; lift objects weighing 15–50 lbs.; perform repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and operating a forklift.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation range: $46,700.00 – $70,100.00, depending on experience. Eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan. Core benefits include health benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings program with company match, and paid time off (PTO).
