Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Parts Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining a stock of parts for our shop and field operations. This includes identifying the parts needed for repair and maintenance work, procuring items from suppliers, maintaining accurate inventory records, and pulling/issuing parts to the crews as requested for our operations.
Qualifications & RequirementsHS Diploma, GED or equivalent Valid US Driver’s License. Warehouse/Part room environment experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel Good communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Primary ResponsibilitiesPulls inventory for the mechanics and field to ensure they receive the correct parts in a timely manner. Ensures parts are correctly issued and inventory is accurately updated in the system. Continual communication with shop and field on open orders while providing them accurate ETA’s. Operates equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy materials and equipment. Provides courteous and professional service to the shop, field, and other departments.
Troubleshoots and resolves any issues with parts orders or inventory. Receives , stores , and organizes parts and equipment in the warehouse or storage facility. Collaborates with AP and Supply Chain on past due invoices and open orders. Assists with regular cycle counts of parts as well as participates in quarterly inventory counts. Maintains a clean and organized workspace while always following safety procedures.

Working Conditions/EnvironmentFrequently operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor. Regularly be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanner, and smartphones.
