Onsite:
Mortgage Originations Department, 220 West Union Avenue;
Bound Brook, NJ
Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Thursdays 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Fridays 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
QUALIFICATIONS:- At least two years of experience with mortgage loan processing.
- Familiarity with Fiserv-Cleartouch software preferred
- Familiarity with Encompass software preferred
- Responsible for all activities required to process and underwrite all loan products.
- Create new loan disclosures for all new applications.
- Gather all necessary loan documents to create a complete loan file.
- Perform moderately complex loan calculations.
- Assist customers and correspondents with inquiries or problems and refer more serious situations to Management.
- Assist Mortgage Representative(s) with questions pertaining to various underwriting guidelines to ensure the approval of quality loans.
- Log and register new lock requests from correspondents.
- Separate and scan files for imaging in Nautilus.
- Run daily reports for Loan Originations Manager.
- Assist Loan Servicing Department in scanning and separating closed loan files as needed.
- Review appraisal reports thoroughly on first mortgage and equity loans that include single family, two to four families, and condominium units.
- Review credit package and complete final underwriting of mortgage products to determine credit worthiness of borrowers prior to submission to Loan Committee.
- Assist in developing and implementing new procedures.
- Provide coverage to the reception area.
- Maintain current knowledge of all position related procedures and compliance.
- Comply with all Bank issued policies, including, but not limited to, the Information Security/Cybersecurity Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Internet Access and E-Mail Use Policy, and any other Information Security and/or Cybersecurity communications/directives received from Management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management necessary to maintain an efficiently run office, including cross-training in other Department or Bank functions.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- May travel to Bank or other locations for job related functions.
- Efficient knowledge of standard office equipment operation, including a Personal Computer (PC) with email,
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate consistent positive interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with colleagues and
- customers
- Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and privacy when interacting with colleagues and customers

Annual salary
: $50,000 - $55,000
