Job Description
Retail Seasonal Associate works in the branch assisting clients with routine banking transactions while exemplifying Valley's quality service standards and complying with operational procedures.
Expected Work Hours40 hours to include Saturdays.
Responsibilities- Perform all required customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Process deposits and withdrawals such as loan payments, holiday club payments, and savings.
- Sell money orders and cashier's checks.
- Balance individual cash boxes and complete end‑of‑day proofs; file signature cards.
- Utilize Teller Scanning Equipment, Cash Recycling, Cash Dispensing machines, and Coin Machines.
- Meet customer expectations, achieve service quality standards, and satisfy mystery shop expectations.
- Maintain knowledge of the Bank’s Code of Conduct and all relevant policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal customer‑service skills, attentiveness, tact, and diplomacy.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy; can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Engage customers in conversations regarding products and services.
- Make sound decisions in real‑time, balancing customer satisfaction with bank risk.
- High School Diploma, GED, or currently attending high school or college.
- Prior cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Pay Range$16.50 – $25.58 per hour
