Aboutthe Role
We’re seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support a range of tax engagements for individuals and closely held businesses, with a strong focus on S-Corporations and Partnerships. This role is hands‑on, preparing and reviewing returns of varying complexity while assisting clients maintain accurate books and records in Quick Books. You’ll work directly with clients to gather information, manage timelines, and ensure high‑quality, timely filings, with exposure to tax planning and compliance across multiple engagements.

Prepare simple and complex tax returns, including but not limited to Individual, partnership, S-Corp, and trust returns with minimal to no supervision.
General accounting, bookkeeping, and cleaning client’s books utilizing Quick Books.
Collaborate with leadership in coordinating large client engagements, identifying problems and providing solutions.
Assist with tax planning, tax compliance, and onboarding of new clients while maintaining quality client relationships.
Identify opportunities to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients.
Support managers in coordinating client workflow and driving tax engagements through to timely, accurate completion, including tracking deadlines, managing deliverables, and resolving issues proactively
Mentor and support junior tax staff by reviewing work, providing technical guidance, and assisting with day‑to‑day questions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and development
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred (or relevant years of experience)
Master’s Degree in Accounting or Tax (preferred)
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
4+ years of experience with individual, partnership, trust, and s-corp returns
Excellent interpersonal skills in working with existing staff and clients
A CPA license or are CPA eligible (Preferred)
