Role Description

We are looking to hire a full-time Project Architect to oversee the design and execution of projects. With each project, you will be supporting the Principal Architect in meeting with clients and stakeholders from initial programming, through design and construction documents, and then through the construction administration process. To ensure success as a Project Architect here at Edifice Design + Architecture, you should have knowledge of architectural design, experience with project management, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Principal Architect in meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss project development.
  • Lead a team of drafters in the production of construction documents for religious, commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects.
  • Assist Principal Architect in acting as an intermediary between the client and the construction team.
  • Lead and mentor staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture.
  • Licensed with state architecture certification.
  • Portfolio of completed projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of Revit software.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to translate concepts into functional construction designs.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Good knowledge of construction costs and time frames.
  • Extensive knowledge of codes and zoning regulations.
