Become a Drivers Education Instructor

$22 per HR starting with the potential to earn $60 an hour

$300 Bonus 60 days after becoming state certified instructor

IDEAL as a part time job, retiree, School Teacher or looking to supplement income

Shift needs:
Monday - Friday after 2:30pm and or weekends anytime

MUST pass thorough federal background check as part of the certification process

Hours available:
Min 10 hours a week up to 30+ hours

You will receive professional and expert level training and become an official state certified driving instructor in the sate of Utah. Training is paid

* This job is great for someone who s looking to work evenings during the week or just weekends, or both. Someone who enjoys teaching and helping others improve, manages anxiety well and remains calm and collective in stressful situations. The position is great for individuals who enjoy being in a vehicle for multiple hours

• Teach students driving skills, traffic rules, and regulations from the passenger seat in state approved company vehicle for Private Driving School
• Coach beginner students on improving driving skill level and passing state required driving objectives
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written as you will need to provide coaching and instruction to students in stressful and high pressure scenarios, you will also be providing feedback to parents and students
• Provide excellent customer service while coaching and interacting with students and parents
• Administrative tasks to enter student information into the state database timely
• Responsible for protecting and securing the safety and well being of yourself, students, and company vehicle

• 21+ years old
• Clear and effective communication English (Spanish a plus not required)
• Clean driving record
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check (state and federal) and basic medical exam
• Will need to make time to attend and complete instructor training and certification process
• Punctuality and reliability is a must. Little to no tolerance for missing shifts. You will have the ability to request time off as needed in advance as you select your own schedule
