Aqua Engineering (AQUA) is a 70-person civil and process engineering firm specializing in: water and wastewater treatment, municipal engineering, water resources, construction services, asset management and resource recovery/renewable energy. Role DescriptionAs a Construction Engineer/Manager, you will work with engineers and other staff to oversee construction on projects including components of water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery. We provide a fun, flexible and fast-paced environment with exciting project opportunities.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular coordination/progress meetings.
- Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Process change orders and develop record drawings.
- Observe and oversee construction techniques, quality control, special inspections and enforce contract specification compliance.
- Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar experience. - Experience
: 1-10+ years of experience. - Strong Communication Skills
:
To build strong and effective relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff by having strong communication skills both written and verbal (e.g., negotiation, listening, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy). - Quantitative Skills
: analytical, technical, problem solving. - Proficiency

Microsoft Office Suite tools, project management software, and PDF editor software such as Bluebeam. - Ability
:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations. - Attitude
