Hospice Administrator

Ovation Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice Administrator for our Salt Lake City location. As a Hospice Administrator with Ovation, you will oversee the Utah area’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional patient care delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.

• • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hospice team, ensuring the highest standards of care are met
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the hospice program, including clinical operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and review patient care plans
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the organization’s mission and enhance referral networks
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research to drive continuous improvement

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice, preferably in a marketing role
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
  • Preferably, a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
