Echocardiography Coordinator

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Echocardiography Coordinator at Lakeview Hospital, you will perform dimensional ultrasonic recordings of the heart and other organs for diagnosis and support the cardiovascular diagnostic team.

• Assist with stress testing, operate echocardiography machines, and perform other non‑invasive cardiovascular diagnostic testing.
• Analyze and record test results, ensuring data accuracy.
• Oversee quality and accuracy of echo sonographers, adhering to IAC and ASE guidelines.
• Maintain logs, records, statistics, and required data for the hospital, IAC, or other organizations.
• Treat staff performance deficiencies constructively, recognizing exemplary performance.
• Assist department manager in ensuring staff follows standardized protocols and accurately completes preliminary echo reports.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
