Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at Lakeview Hospital, you will perform professional duties involved in various technical procedures, providing prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will work in a compassionate, patient‑centered environment aligned with our mission to “Care Like Family.”

• Provide patients with the proper procedure and excellent quality images to assist the physician in diagnosing the patient’s condition or health complaint.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, including portable exams and C‑arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete service requests, creating a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission.
• Maintain knowledge of growth and development and understand the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
• Stay up‑to‑date with current techniques and procedures.

We offer accelerated development programs to support colleagues with career advancement into both CT and MRI. These training programs are fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete clinical hours and receive payment during regular shifts.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT‑R) Radiography certification.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Associate Degree in a relevant field.
