Phlebotomist

Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 3:15pm

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current or prior Labcorp experience.
• One or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
• Comprehensive benefits for employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
• Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary hires are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan.
• Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all above benefits except PTO or FTO.
