Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

• Perform routine diagnostic x-rays and portable bedside x-rays
• Provide C-arm/fluoroscopy support during surgical or procedural cases
• Support imaging needs in the surgical suite
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures
• Maintain radiation safety and provide sterile procedural support

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

• BLS certification
• ARRT-R certification
• Experience with angiography/fluoro equipment
• Radiation safety knowledge
