• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Order and maintain inventory controls, ensuring product quality and supervising the Bakery team.
• Execute merchandise rotation and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
• Unload and sort store deliveries; operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Enforce all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure team compliance.
• Support a fast‑paced environment.

• Minimum 18 years old with at least two years of retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Dependable, flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Strong communication skills, capable of giving and receiving direction in a team environment.
• Must be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping: clean and sanitize work area.
• Operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; accurately weigh and label products.
• Stand up to 3 hours continuously per shift, with capacity to lift and transfer items up to 40 lb. over specified distances.
• Adhere to safety, health, weight‑and‑measures regulations, and hold a Food Handler permit.
