Position:
Sales Representative and Field Trainer
We are looking for current or former athletes with a competitive mindset to join our dynamic sales team. This position focuses on selling supplemental insurance products and coaching new agents in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Make daily in-person sales calls to small and medium‑sized businesses in your territory.
- Build strong professional relationships and establish trust and rapport with customers.
- Connect with key decision makers at these businesses and schedule appointments to present our supplemental benefits programs in group or enrollment‑style settings.
- Report daily sales statistics at the end of each day.
- Submit your work schedule and goals to the team leader at the beginning of each week.
- Attend business networking events in your territory to secure new leads and referrals.
- Re‑service existing client accounts periodically and systematically.
- Enter business client information weekly into the CRM system.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and sales staff.
- Leadership and mentorship experience or the ability to train others effectively.
- Strategic planning and familiarity with effective sales strategies.
- Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment.
- Mastery of product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing to obtain a Health & Life producer license); licensing reimbursement is offered.
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience; candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion are eligible.
- Virtual classroom and hands‑on sales training in your own territory.
- Weekly pay with bonuses and commission eligibility upon start.
- Quarterly and annual incentive trips, cash bonuses, stock‑share bonuses, and lifetime‑vested renewal commissions.
- Advancement and promotions based on personal performance.
