Salary:
Starting $16.50 per hour
Under the direct supervision of the Water Director, the water system maintenance worker performs daily water maintenance responsibilities for the City of Bountiful.
Essential Job Functions- New water main line and service line installation.
- Assist with water main line and service leak repair.
- Lift parts involved in a water system such as pipe, valves, and fittings.
- Pressure regulating valves maintenance.
- Assist with keeping job sites safe from hazards for crews and the public.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Entry‑level position.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
- General knowledge of hand tools.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid Utah Driver's License.
- Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre‑employment drug test.
