Administrative Assistant and Chapel Coordinator

The Administrative Assistant and Chapel Coordinator position is a regular full-time, 12-month position. This role is a direct report to the University Chaplain and serves as support for the Office of Spiritual Development while coordinating chapel services and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage schedule of University Chaplain.
- Maintain expense receipts, supports credit card reconciliation and reporting, processes check/reimbursement requests, and tracks budget transfers.
- Manage room reservations, facilities work-orders, and catering requests.
- Speaker scheduling, correspondence, and contracts in conjunction with University Chaplain.
- Logistics: travel, housing, and any on-site logistics including hospitality.
- Media for chapel and campus digital signage, including Pro-Presenter.
- Prepare and host Green Room for Office of Spiritual Development events.
- Manage social media accounts with student worker.
- Coordinate calendar and communication with office staff.
- Manage OSD communication with campus; ie., revival promotion, social media, student ministries, discipleship groups, chapel, etc.
- Coordinate design work for Spiritual Development events using outside graphic design personnel i.e. Chapel, Chapel Calendar, etc.
- Coordinate with student worker design projects for student ministries, D-groups and social media promoting OSD and Shalom Project events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Student employees and volunteers.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Required
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Work from an office located on the balcony level of Ludwig Center. 12-month, non-exempt, fill-time staff position.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour. Additional considerations may be made for relevant experience and educational background.
