Dental Hygienist Dental Group of Bourbonnais

Dental Group of Bourbonnais is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our fun and friendly team! You can expect to be a part of an inclusive team of professionals who provide quality patient care daily to the Bourbonnais community. We collaborate together, we celebrate together, and we grow together!

Scheduled

Hours:
  • Monday 8:30am-7:00pm (flexible to be 2pm-7pm if needed)
  • Wednesday 8:30am-7:00pm (flexible to be 2pm-7pm if needed)

(Opportunity to become full-time, if interested)

Patient Schedule
  • Single column, average of 7 patients/day
  • 60 minute prophys and recalls
  • 60-90 minute SRPs
  • 90 minute New Patient appointments

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • Local Anesthesia Certification
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Open to new graduates and experienced hygienists!
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre‑employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
