The Department of Mathematics at Olivet Nazarene University is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach in person mathematics courses, which may include any of the following: MATH 103 Mathematics for the Liberal Arts, MATH 117 Finite Mathematics, MATH 120 Introduction to Statistics, or MATH 137 Applied Calculus. The instructor can begin as early as the spring semester of 2026; and all courses are located on the Bourbonnais campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The teaching position requires preparation, presentation, assessment, and grading of content. The ability to have limited additional time to assist students before or after class is desired. Effective teaching is crucial.

3. Willingness to assist students and interact with them outside of class.
Additional Information
EDUCATION
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The lecture position will be in a traditional classroom setting at the Bourbonnais, IL campus.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Adjuncts will be paid based on their highest degree and level of course taught. The range for most undergraduate and graduate programs is $800 to $900 per credit hour.
