POSITION SUMMARY
McGraw School of Business at Olivet Nazarene University seeks a full-time faculty member to support a growing degree in the School of Business beginning August 2026. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits are competitive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach primarily economic courses and possibly lower level finance or accounting courses.

University service, including advising and mentoring students, supervising professional certifications, advising students organizations, meeting with prospective students, and serving on university committees.

Support of the program's continuous quality improvements, assessment, and professional certification activities.

Scholarly research, finance or economics education initiatives, consulting, grant writing, mission projects, and presenting at technical conferences are encouraged.

The ideal candidate may also contribute to professional finance certifications.

Additional Information

EDUCATION
A master's degree in business, economics or finance is required. Professional licensure in finance and/or an earned PhD in finance, economics or business-related field is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The School of Business is located on the main floor of the Weber Center, on the main campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The starting annual salary for this position is $47, and is based on experience and education level.
