Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)
Location:
Bourbonnais, IL 60913 Pay Rate: $85/hour before taxes and benefits Contract Length: 43 Weeks
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person) Orientation
Start Date:

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with LBS1 certification, preferably with high school life skills experience, to join our team in Bourbonnais, IL. This is a full-time, in-person position with a 43-week contract.
Responsibilities:- Provide specialized instruction tailored to high school students, focusing on life skills development.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable education regulations.
- Must hold a valid Illinois LBS1 certification.
- Experience with high school life skills programs preferred.
- Ability to attend in-person orientation starting August 11.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday on-site in Bourbonnais, IL.
- 43-week contract
- $85/hour, paid weekly
- Full-time, in-person role
