Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)

Location:

Bourbonnais, IL 60913 Pay Rate: $85/hour before taxes and benefits Contract Length: 43 Weeks

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person) Orientation

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with LBS1 certification, preferably with high school life skills experience, to join our team in Bourbonnais, IL. This is a full-time, in-person position with a 43-week contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to high school students, focusing on life skills development.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable education regulations.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Illinois LBS1 certification.
  • Experience with high school life skills programs preferred.
  • Ability to attend in-person orientation starting August 11.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday on-site in Bourbonnais, IL.
Contract Details:
  • 43-week contract
  • $85/hour, paid weekly
  • Full-time, in-person role
