McGraw School of Business at Olivet Nazarene University seeks a full-time faculty member to support a growing degree in the School of Business beginning August 2026. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits are competitive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach core economic courses and finance courses.

University service, including advising and mentoring students, supervising professional certifications, advising student organizations, meeting with prospective students, and serving on university committees.

Support of the program's continuous quality improvements, assessment, and professional certification activities.

Scholarly research, finance or economics education initiatives, consulting, grant writing, mission projects, and presenting at technical conferences are encouraged.

The ideal candidate may also contribute to professional finance certifications.

Required

A passion for teaching and support of Olivet's mission are essential.

Professional practice and/or industry experience are highly desirable.

Should be able to articulate the integration of the Christian faith and economic & finance practices.

Additional Information

A master's degree in business, economics or finance is required. Professional licensure in finance and/or an earned PhD in finance, economics or business-related field is preferred. The School of Business is located on the main floor of the Weber Center, on the main campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Olivet offers the Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, Econ & Finance, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing and Management Information Systems.
