Salary
: £51,287.99 (including on‑call standby 1:4 + 8% SLA)

Hours:

40 hour week
Days off: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
Travel: after ½ hour each way

Vehicle and equipment: van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment supplied.

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Identify non‑repairable faults promptly and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for suitable replacements.
• Ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and according to laid‑down procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical and compliance paperwork.
• Order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• Advise GSMs of any repair, maintenance or installation issues that may affect store operations and build rapport to promote partnership with all GSMs.
• Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/RFM.

• Time‑served apprenticeship
• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration based qualification
• Approved training program
• Refrigerant handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate
• Skill card
• Full driving licence
• Experience using a PDA system
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on‑call rota every 1:4 weeks.

Salary as above. 40 hour week. 25 days + 8 bank holidays. Travel time after ½ hour each way. Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided. 8% SLA and standby on‑call compensation.
