The role of a Support Worker at Enable is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person-centred outcomes for people with complex support needs. The job requires enthusiasm, great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs.
Main duties of the jobAs a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging the people you support to play active roles in their communities, promoting independence. You will provide support with activities of daily living, including social activities, personal care, routines, meal planning and preparation, and budgeting. Effective communication using the service users' chosen methods, as well as promoting and motivating them to enhance their quality of life, are also key aspects of the role.
You may also be required to provide positive behavioural support approaches for individuals with complex needs.

We have a number of services in Lincolnshire, the charming market town of Bourne.
We have unique services within Lincolnshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.
We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;
Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.

Person Specification Qualifications- No specific qualifications are required, but a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK is needed.
