Mainduties of the job
The Head of Housekeeping role is responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the care home. This includes ensuring that all rooms, communal areas, and living spaces are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional results.
The Head of Housekeeping will also work closely with other departments, such as nursing and care staff, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to delivering high-quality care.

Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital or hotel environment will be very advantageous for the role of Head of Housekeeping. We'll also look for a proven ability to lead and inspire a team. A caring nature and good communication skills are important as you'll often come into contact with other members of staff, residents and their relatives.

Person Specification Qualifications- Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital, or hotel environment is highly advantageous for this role. A proven ability to lead and inspire a team is also essential, as is a caring nature and good communication skills to interact with staff, residents, and their families.
