Role Purpose
As a vital part of the team, you will support the Beach Lodges Manager in maintaining impeccable cleanliness across all Beach Lodges and associated areas, ensuring guests and members of the public enjoy a wonderful experience. This is a 0‑hour contract role; successful applicants are expected to start as soon as possible.
Main Responsibilities- Work as part of a team and independently to complete all cleaning tasks promptly and efficiently within strict time frames.
- Clean Beach Lodges and associated areas to an excellent standard, including bathrooms, kitchens, windows, bed changes, exterior surfaces, and other designated areas.
- Clean Steamer Point Lodge to the same standards, covering bathrooms, kitchens, windows, bed changes, exterior surfaces, etc.
- Prioritise duties and manage time to finish all tasks within guest change‑over periods.
- Use and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and equipment, reporting shortages to the Beach Lodges Manager.
- Assist and engage with other staff members, reporting any defects to the Beach Lodges Manager.
- Comply with all Health and Safety procedures and policies set by BCP Council.
- Undertake any other duties from time to time that are commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the post, including working outdoors.
- Passion for hospitality with strong communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in high‑quality cleaning services in a domestic or hotel environment.
- Experience working with the public and in hospitality environments.
- Excellent cleaning skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time‑management and prioritisation ability.
- Reliable, honest, and possessing integrity.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate effectively within a team.
- Work 2 out of 7 days, primarily Mondays and Fridays, with potential for additional days during major events such as the Bournemouth Air Festival.
- Possess a valid UK driving licence and be able to use public or other transport to travel to and from work.
- Must be able to work outdoors and lift manual loads as required.
- Must have existing right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
- Complete mandatory online training.
