As a Science Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, organising and maintaining laboratory equipment for practical sessions
• Coordinating and supervising the work of other technicians
• Maintaining accurate records relating to stock, equipment and safety compliance
• Supporting safe working practices, including risk assessments and adherence to regulations
• Providing occasional in-class technical support during practical activities

As a Science Technician, your experience will include:

• Previous experience in a science technician role
• A Level 3 Science Qualification or relevant vocational certification
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety requirements including COSHH
• Experience supervising or guiding the work of others
• Competence using and maintaining a range of scientific equipment
