Salary

Up to £30,000 - £45,500 DOE OTE

Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered largely on a reactive basis. The company operates through over 60 franchisees covering the UK, and is part of the expanding Franchise Brands group.
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled individual based in Dorset to develop their engineering career within this sector and provide exceptional service to our high‑profile customers.
Responsibilities- Carry out a range of services associated with tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains
- Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Work in accordance with H&S and QA procedures
- Maintain your branded company service vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
- Accurately record work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and applications
- Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Commit to working for a 24/7, 365 service provider – this may involve participation in on‑call rotas or occasional unsociable hours
- Experience in drainage essential – minimum of 2 years
- High‑pressure water jetting experience
- CSCS card
- Experience with CCTV surveys and lining an advantage
- Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
- Willingness to work occasional/unsociable hours
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- MUST live in the Dorset area
- Ability to work in a positive team environment and develop technical skills
