Gas Engineer

Experienced Domestic Gas Engineer required in the Bournemouth area by a leading manufacturer to work across local areas, carrying out Domestic Heating & Boiler repairs and servicing. The role involves working on central heating boilers and some associated gas appliances in domestic properties, including private homes and housing association homes. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing boilers that other engineers could not, servicing and repairing gas boilers and heating systems, and delivering excellent customer service, representing the company’s image and brand.

• Diagnosis and fault finding on gas boilers and associated appliances
• Repairing gas boilers
• Replacement of parts
• Servicing domestic gas boilers
• Completion of CP12’s
• Central heating system diagnosis
• Heat pump service & repair (after training)

• Hold current Gas ACS Certificates – CCN1 & CEN1 / CENWAT1
• Working as a gas engineer since qualifying and holding a valid gas safe register card
• Previous boiler fault finding experience
• Boiler fault diagnosis and repair
• Solid and structured boiler servicing knowledge
• Knowledge of general boiler fault codes
• Competent in electrical safety checks and use of a multimeter
• F‑Gas or heat pump experience beneficial

Competitive salary of c £60k OTE plus a van (with private use), contributory pension, and other benefits including 25 days holiday. Benefits also include fuel coverage, a good basic salary, and further career progression opportunities.
