You will be working for a well-established university in Bournemouth, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of campus buildings and student accommodation. This is a great opportunity to join a professional estates team within a busy and varied environment.

Your new role
As a Painter & Decorator, you will be carrying out a range of decorating duties across university buildings, ensuring a high standard of finish at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

Internal painting and decorating works
Surface preparation, filling and sanding
Emulsion, gloss and woodwork painting
Minor making-good works
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working within occupied and unoccupied university facilities

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Own tools preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Availability to start ASAP
