Job overviewTeamUHD are looking for a g eneral m aintenance a ssistant (e lectrical ) to join the Estates department on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site.
You’ll be working as part of a team that covers the hospital electrical systems 7 days per week ( shift working) an d be responsible f or the day-to-day repairs, operation and first line response of the Trust electrical equipment and systems.
You ’ll operate and m aintain the Trust ’ s electrical equipment and systems , including ( but not limited to ): lighting and emergency light systems, fire alarms, nurse call and other electrical systems and equipment found in the healthcare environment . Ensuring an efficient and safe manner, in accordance with legislation and agreed standards.
We’re seeking someone who demonstrate s a keen understanding of all modern general electrical maintenance activities, both reactive and planned; with a willingness to learn and improve their skills and be a dedicated team player with a proven track record .
