Automotive Service Technician - Group Toyota Bowie

Overview

Group 1 Toyota Bowie, is part of Group 1 Automotive, a Fortune 250 company and one of the fastest-growing leaders in automotive retail. We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Compensation:
The pay for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/an hour based on experience.
