Heavy Civil Estimator

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator to support our estimating team on wet utility and sitework projects. This role is ideal for an entry to mid-level estimator with hands-on experience performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with bid preparation. The Estimator will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to develop accurate cost estimates for upcoming projects.

• Perform quantity takeoffs for wet utility and sitework scopes
• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Track and organize bid documents and estimate files
• Support project teams with budgeting and cost data as needed

• 1-8 years of experience in heavy civil estimating, quantity takeoffs, or field-related roles
• Experience with wet utilities and sitework is required
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
