Concrete Estimator

Concrete Estimator – Large Scale Commercial & Industrial Projects

Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 per year.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including concrete, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Manage the bidding process: create cost estimates, draft proposals, and prepare hard bids.
• Implement cost‑effective solutions and project strategies to stay within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential operational or financial risks.
• Communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to discuss cost estimates and resolve cost discrepancies.
• Participate in negotiation and preparation of construction contracts.
• Utilize specialized software for project take‑off and estimation.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry as a Concrete Estimator or similar role.
• Proven experience in concrete‑focused commercial and industrial projects ranging from $2M to $12M in value.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure cost‑effective contracts and bids.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and other industry tools.
• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
