Location: Bowie, MD;

• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Coordinates project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting.
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones; and conducting Project Analysis through required project documentation such as AIA.
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
• Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
• Responsible for the successful completion of the project.
• Assist Coordinator in obtaining required subcontract agreements or project documents required for file.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (PE license preferred).
• 4-6 years of experience managing mechanical HVAC projects.
• Expert in hydronic and airside systems including chillers, boilers, and air handling units.
• Strong understanding of HVAC industry standards, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,900 to $178,400 in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
