Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to accomplish the following:
- Manage program, project managers, and respective teams to implement organizational processes and best practices.
- Expertise in managing software development, operations, help desk, and maintenance programs, quality assurance teams, and process improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain ISO 20000, ISO 27000, ISO 9001, CMMI-DEV, and CMMI-SVC programs from ground up.
- Implement and maintain a Customer Satisfaction Program; regularly meet with customers and obtain feedback via face‑to‑face meetings and/or online customer satisfaction surveys.
- Perform SWOTs as appropriate.
- Manage performance of project evaluations, gap analyses, audits, and action plans; responsible for company process improvement initiatives; back‑office support (finance, HR, recruiting, etc.), services (ISO, ITIL, CMMI‑SVC Level
3), and development projects (CMMI‑DEV Level
3). - Manage the development and/or modification of processes, procedures, templates, and other process artifacts for organizational process improvement efforts.
- Perform management functions: planning/scheduling, training and mentorship to personnel, ensuring proper resourcing, and status reporting to senior management for all process improvement, QA, and customer satisfaction activities.
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- BS, 10‑12 years of relevant experience; MS, 8‑10 years;
PhD, 5‑7 years - Experience operating within ISO and/or CMMI environments (ISO 9001/CMMI Level 3 preferred)
- ASQ CQE/CQA
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
