Principal Linux Systems Administrator - Intelligence Sector, Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA)
Leidos is seeking a Principal Linux Systems Administrator to support programs and contracts in the Intelligence Sector. The role will provide critical support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, manage infrastructure, and enhance system performance across client/server, storage, network and mobile devices.
Responsibilities- Maintain STE/STN compliance and ensure systems meet security and compliance standards.
- Account and Access Management: manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment, implementing security procedures and tools.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load software, troubleshoot, maintain network integrity, and implement system enhancements.
- Provide day‑to‑day IT support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems, providing support for escalated tickets and detailed analysis.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
- Support dispatch systems and hardware issues, configuring and installing system hardware/software, and maintaining server and domain security requirements.
- 15 or more years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; alternatively, 20 years of SA experience may substitute for the degree.
- Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies.
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
