About the Role
This hybrid position requires an in‑office presence at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). It is open to offices within New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Maryland, and employees must be able to commute within the service area.
Primary PurposePerforms and/or manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, projects, portfolios, products, and processes. Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates and holds budget responsibility for a small project, sub‑project, or process component, working under minimal supervision.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities- Perform, manage and document work activities related to IT service portfolios or products in support of business partners; lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements; assist in long‑range portfolio planning and work scheduling within current year financial commitments (45%).
- Assist in creating documentation for products and services; use best practices to improve offerings to business unit partners and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards (15%).
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders (15%).
- Establish a positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel; provide performance and development feedback as required (15%).
- Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function (10%).
- Utilize understanding of customer business needs to determine requirements.
- Apply technical expertise to plan, design, build, or support required products and processes.
- Help other team members learn appropriate theories, practices, and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio.
- As assigned, manage budget for area of responsibility.
- As assigned, manage working relationship with outsourcing partners.
- Storm duty is a requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 4 to 7 years of experience in Information Technology; or, in lieu of a degree, 6 to 9 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with data analysis in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience leading small IT projects or sub‑teams and knowledge of IT project management.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with remote project teams.
- Knowledge of EDI.
- Annual salary range $100,000 – $137,500 per year.
- Annual bonus for eligible positions: 15%.
