- Develop scripts, analytics, and data transformations to answer novel mission questions.
- Aggregate and integrate data from disparate sources into new and existing applications.
- Design and build user interfaces and visualizations that improve mission understanding.
- Work directly with mission customers to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and provide ongoing support.
- Rapidly adapt solutions as customer priorities and operational needs change.
- Collaborate with other DAT and quality teams to share expertise and elevate overall capability.
- Own solutions end-to-end—from architecture through deployment and sustainment.
- Strong experience developing in Python, particularly for data transformations and analytics.
- Experience building front‑end web applications using JavaScript/Type Script and React.
- Experience querying and developing in big‑data environments.
- Experience developing on and managing Linux servers.
- Comfort working directly with customers and end users to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Desire to architect and implement solutions from concept through production.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field required with a minimum of 12 years' (senior-level) career experience in big data, software engineering, and a proven ability to lead a team of developers and engineers to accomplish mission goals.
